Before and After Photo Of La Gran Via of Madrid
The picture above, was taken in June of 1976, where you can see the Metropolis building, with Alcala street to the left, just behind the bus. To the right is “Edificio Grassy”, on La Gran Via, 1. In the background, is the Telefónica building.
To the right of the new photos taken in July 2013, you can see the Church of San José, and on the old, just a small part of this church appears.
To take these pictures today, I was waiting for a blue bus to pass by, but it was not easy to take the picture because of the big traffic jam, therefore I decided to publish the two new photos.
