This museum, first opened in Fernan Nunez Palace, where currently, we have the the Spanish Railways Foundation headquarters. In 1967, the Railway Museum, exhibited small models, and other objects related to the history of the railway in Spain, and in 1983, the museum was moved to its current location, to make it possible to show real trains.

The building of Delicias Station, is part of the history of the railroad in Madrid, as it was the first station built with an iron structure architecture, characteristic of the nineteenth century. It was inaugurated in 1880.

Soon, we will post photographs, and descriptions of railway locomotives which are on display at the Museum.
