In its center there is a statue tribute to Alvaro de Bazan (nineteenth century), and around it, is a group of three buildings: the Casa de la Villa, designed by Juan Gómez de Mora in the seventeenth century, and formerly used as a prison. Beside Casa de la Villa, stands the Casa de Cisneros, a reconstruction made on the early twentieth century of a sixteenth century palace. In this palace stands an impressive collection of great quality of tapestries.
